About our Shelter

Welcome to City of Fairfield Bay Animal Control Division:

​

Our shelter is a small municipal shelter that takes in stray and homeless animals from inside the Fairfield Bay City Limits that our officers pick up.

We do not accept owner surrenders.

We are small and can house 17 canines and 12 felines. Animals are Quarantine for 72 hours before they are up for adoption or Rescue. They will be given Innoculations, Dewormer and Flea and Tick Medication. Spay or Neuter is required and will be done upon adoption.

Our shelter follows all Local, State and Federal laws set for Animal Care and Control.

Our Shelter is Run by 2 Fulltime Certified Animal Control Officers and 1 Part Time Animal Control Officer.

​

Tania Vicknair: Supervising Animal Control Officer and Department Head.

Tania is Certified Level 1 and 2 Animal Control Officer, Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator, Certified Euthanasia Technician. She also carries the State ADH License.

​

Steven Vicknair: Aco 2

Steven is Certified Level 1 and 2 Animal Control Officer, Certified Animal Cruelty Investigator and Certified Euthansia Technician.

​

Drake Taylor: Part Time Animal Control, Full time Code Enforcement Officer.

​

All Officers are State and Nationally Certifed, Registered with ADH and DEA
